So, today the revolutionary Nintendo Wii turns 10 years old today as it was originally released on November 19th, 2016. It was first video game console to introduce motion controls to the video game industry and is also an example of innovation and experimentation done right as the Nintendo Wii sold 101.63 million units worldwide and become a trend-setter for consoles today. As, competing companies like Sony and Microsoft have made motion control add-ons like the PlayStation Move and the Xbox Kinect. The Wii also brought in a new generation of casual gamers, some of those casual gamers became hardcore gamers thanks to the Nintendo Wii. It was a revolutionary console that surely changed the world.
